The buzz: DAP JP is one of the first restaurants to open in the up-and-coming foodie hotspot QRE Plaza in Wan Chai, serving modern Japanese/European cuisine. This is the sister restaurant of local foodies’ favorite French restaurant, DAP, in Jordan.
The buzz: The newest restaurant on the foodie lane that is Gough Street is somewhat misleadingly named; Babylon serves classic French and Italian cuisine, not Middle-Eastern.
The buzz: In a neighborhood already crowded with tapas bars, Tapeo distinguishes itself by being the only one where the dining room is wrapped around the open kitchen.
It’s hardly news that cooking classes are all the rage these days, but finally there’s a class with something for everyone. Corner Kitchen is offering a customized bistro-menu cooking class where students can pick from a vast menu exactly which entrées, mains and desserts they want to create.
